Who am I?

A bit of an existential question - but I will try my best…

I am full time aircraft engineer; I love my job and I keenly pursue my line of work

However, I am a massive automotive nerd at heart. Every moment I spend outside of the 9-5 is involved with cars in some way. I have a Fanatec racing simulator which I often play online with friends. If I’m not doing that, I am driving my 3L N52 powered Z4 Coupe which is, in my opinion, one of the greatest driver’s cars ever made. I also own a Volvo V50 - a bit of a grandad’s car I know - but it makes motorway miles an absolute breeze. I maintain both of my cars myself on the side of my terraced street - neither have ever seen a garage for repairs in their combined 75,000+ miles.

In 2025, I combined this passion with photography. It’s been awesome. Countless events attended, people met, and memories made. I started as “k31_photography” but moved to k31.spr as a combination of my cars license plates!

I’m excited to bring this website online to hopefully inspire and help other car enthusiasts to be creative and share the beauty of this hobby.
